['Hot boi' was very accurate, of course, or at least the sentiment was. Caleb would not have chosen those exact words, but there was no helping what stuck. There were certain very convincing members of the Mighty Nein. One typically did not win arguments with Jester or Veth.
The cool touch of that hand was certainly welcome -- almost welcome enough that Caleb started to forget about Essek likely being able to feel as well as see his scars. Almost. He at least was able to stuff that anxiety back far enough that it was more background noise than anything else.]
As am I. There is a tavern I have found to have a decent enough atmosphere. It is not too far, so we should manage to avoid too much melting.
